ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Courtney was raised in northeast Florida, and grew up with a healthy love of the beach, Disney World, and FSU football. She was home-schooled with five brothers and two sisters, which meant epic family road trips across the country all year round. She has since traveled abroad in Europe and South America, and lived in Houston, San Diego, Atlanta, Rexburg Idaho, and most recently Utah for almost five years, but has since returned to her home state of Florida.
She didn't like to read when she was younger, until her mom wisely placed The Baby-sitter's Club and American Girls books into Courtney's hands. Around age 12, she found an adult historical fiction series, and devoured it. Then she thought to herself, "I could write a story like this. This is what I want to do." She had found her passion and started reading widely - classics, biographies, history, contemporary, fantasy, young adult, all of which set the stage for what she wanted to do for the rest of her life: write romantic adventures. Courtney received a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from BYU-Idaho. When she's not writing, she enjoys reading, traveling, baking, and trying new things, including food. Especially food. She has a newfound love of Turkish and Korean dramas. She loves spending time with her nieces and nephews, and where there's a beach, she want to be on it. Previously a Hufflepuff, she has embraced becoming a Slytherin in adulthood. She's an INFP, and loves both cats and dogs, but currently only has one psychotic feline named Stitch. Any questions?
